Ken is the CEO and a Portfolio Manager at Haven Global Partners (HGP). He has managed institutional client portfolios since 1989. Prior to co-founding HGP, Ken spent 15 years as the Chief Investment Officer at Herndon Capital Management. Prior to his tenure at Herndon Capital Management, he spent more than eight years at Morgan Stanley Asset Management (“MSAM”). In his first four years at MSAM, Ken managed a domestic intermediate fixed-income portfolio. During the last four years at MSAM, Ken co-managed an international equity portfolio. In addition, he served on MSAM’s Asset Allocation Committee, which determined the firm’s investment policies and positions across various asset classes.
Before joining MSAM, Ken spent almost three years at the African Development Bank (“ADB”) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where he served as the Senior Finance Officer. Ken developed and implemented the investment philosophy, and trading strategies for the Bank’s U.S. Dollars, Canadian Dollars, French Francs, Deutsche Marks, and Japanese Yen portfolios. Before working for the ADB, he managed portfolios at Ward & Associates Asset Management, an asset management firm serving public and private pension plans. Ken began his career in finance as a fixed-income salesperson at Salomon Brothers.
Ken graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. He also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1995.
Anuja R. Singha is CIO and Portfolio Manager at Haven Global Partners (HGP). Prior to co-founding HGP, Anuja was a Portfolio Manager for International and Emerging Markets Investment Strategies at Herndon Capital Management.
Before that Anuja was Head of Valuation and Portfolio Manager for Emerging and Developed Markets at Invesco Ltd, where she started her career as an equity analyst. During her tenure at Invesco, Anuja was a member of the Management Committee for Invesco Global Strategies, and her responsibilities also included US equities, small capitalization equities, and risk management.
Anuja graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Mills College and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Emory University. She has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, and International Review of Law and Economics, and has reviewed for International Review of Economics and Finance.
Anuja earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society Atlanta. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Student Managed Investment Fund at UGA Terry College of Business.
Jason is currently a Senior Investment Analyst and the Chief Compliance Officer at Haven Global Partners. Prior to joining Haven Global Partners, Jason was an Associate Portfolio Manager at Herndon Capital Management, where he was responsible for International Investment Strategies at Herndon Capital Management.
Jason began his investment career at Invesco, where he spent 17 years in a variety of roles. Most recently he was a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst on the Global Equity team, focusing on Emerging Markets. Before moving into that role, Jason was a Senior Quantitative Analyst responsible for co-developing and maintaining the Global Equity team’s investment model, as well as completing risk and performance analytics and trade implementation. He began his work at Invesco in the Strategy and Corporate Development Group performing acquisition analysis and strategic business planning.
Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Jason earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society Atlanta.
Michael is actively engaged in pursuing wealth management firms, family offices, endowments, foundations, and other investment intermediaries to raise assets for Haven Global Partners. Prior to joining Haven Global Partners, Michael served as a Senior Consulting Principal at NexTier Companies, an investment management consultancy that housed seasoned investment professionals who developed and implemented business strategies to spur the growth of client firms. Prior to leading sales efforts at Campbell Newman Asset Management, Michael served as a Delegated Solutions Director at Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, a burgeoning Outsourced Chief Investment Officer firm.
He was a co-founder and Managing Director of Leading Edge Investment Advisors, a leading emerging managers-of-managers firm, where he raised $2 billion in assets in five years for the firm. Michael was a Director of Institutional Sales at Northern Trust Global Investments, where Michael won the largest single account in the history of the bank at more $3 billion. Michael co-founded Trias Capital Management, which was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Fastest Growing Managers Under One Billion” after three years of operations by Pension & Investments. He began his career at Mellon Securities Ltd./Mellon Capital Markets, where Michael developed hundreds of clients in the United Kingdom and continental Europe and generated millions of dollars for the bank.
Michael graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He serves as an Advisor to ResQ Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company focused on ensuring reliable and global access to LipidRescue™ Therapy, the first FDA approved antidote for local anesthetic systematic toxicity, and an Advisor to Zero Keyboard, a sales velocity platform for mobile devices that allows for the instant collection and transmission of sales data into Salesforce.
